Should You Use A Sourcing Agent Or Do It Yourself?

What's your take on this? Do you prefer the control and cost-effectiveness of DIY sourcing or do you prefer to relinquish control of this part of your business? Do you find this part daunting? Don't be afraid to admit it, this is the first hurdle that puts people off. If dealing with Chinese suppliers (or wherever they may be) is just one step too far for you, don't let it be the thing that stops you from proceeding, because there are ways around it. If you really cannot face the fear of negotiating with China, then pay someone to do it for you. I'd be interested to hear some of your comments on this.
